Baby Wearing 101 - 27 September
Join Kiki from Cloth and Carry on Saturday 27 September 10am-12pm for an introduction to babywearing. This is the perfect event for pregnant mums and mums with children under one. Partners welcome too!
We will cover;
The benefits of wearing our babies
The different types of carriers (buckle carriers, meh dais, stretchy wraps, woven wraps, ring slings, onbuhimo) and their benefits and limitations
How to keep your baby safe while babywearing including how to protect their hip development
How to ensure your own comfort while babywearing
Common pitfalls
Plus, Kiki will bring an array of carriers from quality brands like LennyLamb, Neko Slings and Didymos for you to feel and try on (time permitting).
Feel free to also bring along your current carrier for a fit check.
This is for you if:
You want to feel confident, comfortable and safe carrying your baby
You are curious about the different carrier options available and don't know where to start
You have a carrier at home and just can't get it to work for you no matter what you try
You want to come and hang out with other mums and build your village
About Kiki:
Kiki is a babywearing educator, mum, yoga teacher and counsellor who knows how isolating and overwhelming parenthood can be.
She loves to support parents and caregivers to keep their babies close while also connecting to themselves and others. She is a member of the Australian Babywearing Association and owner of online baby carrier store, Cloth and Carry.
