Join our starting solids workshop to discover all you need to know about beginning your baby’s food journey and raising a happy, healthy little (whole) foodie. Run by Mel from Nourishing Mama and Mini.

This workshop will leave you feeling educated and empowered with the confidence to give your mini the best start to food, by supporting their gut, immune system, rapid growth and brain development. It is also a great way to get together with other local parents with baby’s that are a similar age, because it takes a village and we are here to support you!

  • Knowing when your baby is ready to start food

  • The best method of introduction for your family

  • How to keep your baby safe and serve developmentally appropriate food

  • Understanding the difference between gagging vs. choking

  • How often, how much and when to offer food

  • Nourishing first foods to offer

  • Knowing how to create a well balanced meal

  • Important nutrients and how to get these from food

  • Which foods should be delayed and/or avoided

  • Creating healthy habits for the whole family

  • Choosing high-quality foods and reading food labels

  • Raising adventurous little foodies who love real food

  • How to mindfully introduce the top allergenic foods

Who is this for?

This workshop is best suited for families with baby’s that are yet to started solids (ideally 4-7 months), however, if you have already started solids and would like to know more about nourishing your mini, you are also welcome to join in.
