What you’ll actually do on the day

This is not a passive class.

You and your partner will actively practise the tools you’ll use in labour, so they feel familiar and achievable when the time comes.

You’ll learn and practise:

Movement and body preparation

  • birth-supportive exercises to build strength and endurance

  • pelvic mobility and positioning to support baby’s movement

  • floor-based and birth ball exercises you can continue at home

Breath and nervous system support

  • simple breathwork to reduce tension and support focus

  • ways to stay calm and grounded as intensity builds

Understanding labour

  • what is happening physiologically during labour

  • how labour progresses and what supports it

  • how to work with your body rather than against it

Hands-on labour tools

  • labour positions and movement sequences

  • partner support techniques for comfort and positioning

  • acupressure for pregnancy and labour

  • how to use a TENS machine (including pad placement)

  • using a rebozo or sling for comfort and release
