Meet Karen

Karen is a registered psychologist with over 15 years of experience supporting adults, parents and families through life's many challenges and transitions. With a warm, compassionate and person-centred approach, she creates a welcoming space where people can feel heard, understood and supported as they navigate their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Throughout her career, Karen has supported people experiencing anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, grief, relationship difficulties and significant life changes. She has a particular passion for perinatal and infant mental health, having completed extensive additional training in this area. Karen supports women and their families from preconception through pregnancy, postpartum and the transition into parenthood, recognising the emotional complexities that can accompany these transformative seasons of life.

Drawing on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative therapy and attachment-based parenting practices, Karen tailors her support to the individual needs and experiences of each person she works with.
