Breastfeeding Classes on the Central Coast: Expert Support at The Village Collective

Welcome to your trusted breastfeeding support resource on the Central Coast. Our expert breastfeeding classes are here to guide you with the knowledge, tools, and confidence you need to feel well prepared for the journey ahead. Held regularly at The Village Collective, these classes are led by our IBCLC lactation consultant and midwife Harriet from The Breast Help.

Breastfeeding Class
$100.00

Join us for a relaxed and informative group class designed to help you feel confident and supported before your breastfeeding journey begins. Led by Harriet Blannin-Ferguson — Registered Midwife and IBCLC — this session covers everything you really need to know about feeding your baby in those early days.

We keep it real, evidence-based, and non-judgemental — perfect for first-time parents or anyone wanting a smoother experience this time around. Partners or support people are warmly encouraged to attend.

What we cover:

  • How breastfeeding works and what’s normal (cluster feeds, sleepy days, supply worries)

  • Common challenges (like pain, latch, and pumping) — and how to prevent them

  • How to know baby is getting enough

  • Partner support and feeding plans that actually work
