Breath Care Collective

Nicole Boughton

Registered Nurse | Breathwork Facilitator

Nicole Boughton is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of clinical experience, who has since trained further in psychosexual therapy and trauma-informed breathwork. She runs her own practice, Breath Care Collective, and will be practising out of The Village Collective's Ettalong Beach site. She's AHPRA registered as a nurse, holds a Master's in Psychosexual Therapy, and is accredited with the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine, the Australian Counselling Association, and the Australasian Society for Sexual Health Medicine. She explicitly positions herself as LGBTQIA+ affirming and neurodiversity affirming.

Personally: she's a step-parent and adoptive parent to three adult children, and a dog mum to Kevin and Luna (Kevin apparently sits in on sessions). Outside work she runs, travels, spends time with family, and plays music.

What she does
Nicole offers trauma-informed somatic breathwork combined with talk therapy — essentially using the body/nervous system as an entry point alongside conversation-based support. She works mainly with women and families, particularly around:

  • Stress, overwhelm and burnout

  • Life transitions, menopause and hormonal change

  • Body disconnection

  • Relationship, intimacy and sexual wellbeing concerns

  • Neurodivergent clients, or families supporting a neurodivergent member
